Janet Mwamburi, Executive Director of Education
Janet is a Bachelor of Science Graduate from the University of Alberta: Augustana Faculty, a massage therapy graduate of Northern Institute of Massage Therapy and Alberta College of Massage Therapy in Calgary, Alberta. Janet has attained training in Osteoarticular Techniques; Myofascial Remodeling; Visceral Manipulation; Low Intensity Laser Therapy; Pregnancy Massage and Therapeutic Ball Release. She has also completed the Instructor Development Program and is certified in Basic American Sign Language. Janet became an instructor in 2012 and completed two NACC Instructor Development Programs. Janet feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to encourage RMTs-in-training as they pursue their dreams of helping others into health and wellness. If you asked Janet what the greatest highlight of her role is, she would say “Nothing excites me more than listening to budding practitioners talk about how their techniques effected lasting change and vastly improved their client’s quality of life. Nothing beats that!”

Terri Cuthill, Curriculum Director
Terri graduated from Alberta Massage Training in 2009 and became a teacher’s assistant in February 2010. She completed an online instructor course in November 2010. To add to her skills, Terri has taken a cranio sacral workshop, a jade stone workshop and standard first aid and level C CPR. Terri has also graduated from the Manual Osteopathic Therapy program at MOCC. Terri manages the ACMT curriculum as well as the online Learning Management System. The curriculum is consistently updated to match standards in regulated provinces. Terri enjoys helping others, whether it’s working out a client’s knots or helping a student learn the body.

Ashley Taylor, Academic Director & Calgary Campus Manager
Ashley graduated from Alberta College of Massage Therapy and subsequently became a teacher’s assistant with the school in September of 2014. Ashley enjoys a busy practice within McKenzie Towne Chiropractic where she has worked since 2013. She is committed to helping her clients to find effective ways to manage persistent pain and work towards their goals in healing. Her focus is in deep tissue massage facilitated by movement. She is passionate about education and is excited to continue to be in the classroom learning alongside the 2nd year students.

Kacia Mullings, Admissions Officer
As the first year Admissions Officer, Kacia oversees students during the enrollment process. Her positive and warm attitude enhances every student’s experience. With over 10 years of recruiting and placement experience, she is able to provide world-class customer service, excel in relationship management, and drive success. Kacia has a passion and love for people and her greatest satisfaction is the success of others. Kacia is currently enrolled in the Massage Therapy Diploma program and can provide first-hand knowledge to all inquiring students!

madisonMadison Coulson, Admissions Officer
As an Admissions Officer, Madison facilitates students throughout their enrollment in the program. She also assists both first- and second-year students with their student finances. Madison completed her Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Human Resources Management from MacEwan University. Her passion to help others and share knowledge makes her a great resource for supporting students! Outside of work, Madison enjoys reading novels, spending time with family and friends, and doing anything sports related.


Heather Jamieson, Enrollment Specialist
Heather moved to Alberta 7 years ago from the east coast and has been working with ACMT/MOCC for 4 years. She is an ACMT Massage Therapy graduate, which allows her to fully understand the student experience. Outside of work, Heather enjoys baking, DIY projects, camping and spending time with her family and friends, especially her spouse and her daughter, Charlotte.


Carly Mayer, Clinic Manager
The Clinic Manager oversees all aspects of the Student Clinic experience, from day-to-day operations to student clinical objectives. After obtaining a B.A in Communication Studies, Carly moved out west to start her career. Organization, creativity and positivity drive Carly to encourage success for others in their field. Outside of work you’ll either find Carly playing softball, in the mountains or traveling. If she isn’t there she is spending her free time with her fur child Mitzi.


Rebecca Villeneuve, External Practicum Officer
Rebecca oversees all the external practicum students and upholds ACMT professional and educational standards. Rebecca is an ACMT alumnus, which helps her relate to the students. She has years of experience in the massage therapy industry. Rebecca is driven and friendly always ready to answer your questions!
