The program provides students with the knowledge to provide a safe and ethical one-hour relaxation massage using a variety of Swedish Massage techniques.
Students will be introduced to Case History, Anatomy, Physiology, Medical Terminology and Hydrotherapy. Graduates of the SMP program have the ability to work independently or as an employee at spas, resorts or cruise ships.
Upon completion of this program, graduates may obtain associate or student memberships with the associations listed below:

Alberta College of Massage Therapy (ACMT) is part of the Health and Wellness Colleges of Canada (HWCC) and was founded in 2001. ACMT is a Private Career College licensed through the Province of Alberta’s Innovation and Advanced Education Program. ACMT offers an inspired, flexible learning approach. Upon completion, graduates can practice as Massage Therapists.
